How to create DIMa instance

The Data Integrity Manager (DIMa) is a standard tool to compare the business objects in different databases. It can be used to compare the data such as BP, product, condition between CRM database and R/3 back-end database or CDB database.

 

In this blog, I will post the detailed steps about how to create a new DIMa Instance and how to use it to compare the data. I will take comparison for CRM BP and ERP customer as an example.

  1. Run T-code SDIMA
  2. Click on button “New DIMa Instance”. Now you could see the DIMa Instance Wizard. Click on “Continue”.

   3.  Give a name for the instance, and choose the DIMa object as per your comparison. In this case, I will compare the CRM BP and ERP customer, so I choose object “CUSTOMER”. Then continue.

5.       4.  Here you should choose the correct RFC destination. (It is better to take the suggested value list and then choose the appropriate RFC destination).

For the “filter mode”, it has “N- All filters” mode and “C- DIMa filters only” mode. If you choose “C- DIMa filters only”, then for comparison, the R/3 adapter object (Initial download object) filters are not considered. Normally, we choose “All filters” mode.

    5.  Click on “add a new line” button, here you could add the filter and select the data you want to compare. Please note the LOW field should be maintained as 10-digits number. The leading zeroes are needed. Then continue.

    6. Click on “complete”. A new DIMa instance is created.

    7. Right click on the instance name in the left. Choose “Start comparison” which is for header comparison. When it finished, right click on the instance name again, choose “Start detail comparison”. The header comparison only checks whether business objects exist, the detail comparison checks whether the objects are identical in both databases.

    8.  Then you will see the comparison result. In my case, the data is equal to each other in CRM and ERP. If the data is not equal to each other, the “message” field will have a flag. You could click on the check box, the difference will be listed.

SALESDOCUMENT Filter issue

Hi Folks,

 

I am trying to use the filter for object "SALESDOCUMENT".

 

I have done the parameter settings for CRMPAROLTP in ECC. Once i go to R3AC1 and click on button "Filter Synch R3" it does not show me any error.

 

I compared both table SMOFFILTAB in CRM and CRMFILTAB in ECC. Both are having different entries.

 

I have gone through many threads and SAP notes, still facing the issue. Could anyone help me out to solve this issue.

Issue - Logical system name changed,see oss note 588701

Hello Experts,

 

We have an issue in ECC system

>> outboundque  smq1 ,>> in that ques status are showing as SYSFAIL, and the information is      '""""logical system name changed,see oss note 588701""",


In the note the resolution is mentioned below, but not sure where to correct, change logical system name / or make any entry.  Please advise.


Resolution

There are different cases in which different forms of processing are required or where several options exist:

  • The logical system name of an R/3 Backend client was changed in current operation. In this case, the data hangs in the outbound queues of the R/3 Backend system as specified under point 1 of the symptom. In this case, the logical system name must be changed back to the original value. Then the outbound queues can be reactivated. If no data was transferred to the EBP/CRM server before the change, also a correctioin of the check table is possible.
  • The same logical system name was used again in a new client of an R/3 Backend system that was linked to the EBP/CRM server. In this case, the data is in the inbound queue of the EBP/CRM server with the exception GUID_FOR_LOGSYS_CHANGED. In this case, the queue entries which have status SYSFAIL must be rejected, however, not the entire queues. If the new client of the R/3 Backend system you have linked has exactly the same data as the old client and if it is meant to replace the old client (that is, this was deactivated), also a correction of the check tables is possible. In this case, the inbound queues can be reactivated after the correction.

Under SMQ1 SYSFAIL- error at Table level (note 513550)

Hi ,

 

   In my project we are trying to replicate the Material from SAP ECC to SAP CRM via Middleware. We are getting the error message "Error at Table level (refer note 513550) in SMQL.

 

   We have referred the notes we need to understand why this issue is happening. In my previous project i have not faced this kind of issue during replication.

 

Kindly share your experience and solution.

Hi experts,

 

When I try to replicate the Master Data information of the Materials from SAP ERP to SAP CRM using the Initial Load with a filter added in R3AC1, the SMQ1 Queue returns the following error "Error at Table Level Refer note 513550" and the information are not replicated to SAP CRM.

 

I reviewed the notes 1598587 and 2052113 and are implemented at CRM system.

 

I reviewed all the tables (CRMCONSUM, CRMPAROLTP, CRMFILTAB, CRMRFCPAR...) and it seems everything ok.

 

Can anyone help me¿?

Download object R3_VEHICLE

Hello,

 

I am trying to doanload object R3_VEHICLE from ECC.

 

I alreday downloaded materials and other objects- thus the middlware is working.

 

When I am doing inital load- in the ECC system in the outbound que (smq1) I am getting the follwoing results:

 

1. System status is stop (red)

2. Error message: set by host name:sapdev;transaction:; report:SAPMSSY1

BDocs are not created

When I unlock the the RFC it dissapeare from the que but nothing happens.

 

 

Can you pleas advice what am I missing?

CRMFILTAB:- Filter maintained in CRM is not getting updated

Hi,

 

 

    We are trying to replicate Vehicle to CRM from DBM, The filter maintained in the object is not replicated in R3 back end system table - CRMFILTAB.

 

How to maintain the Table in Standard,Do we need to do any settings. Kindly share your expertise.

Equipment (with type Vehicle) from ECC replication to Installed Base in CRM

Hi Experts,

 

I want to have understanding on below things.

 

In IE01 we are creating equipment with type F (Vehicles) and when we check this in CRM, it comes as an equipment not as vehicle. I found out that in comm_hierarchy we have settings for MAT_EQ with object family 0401(Equipments). Should i change it to 0601(Automotive - vehicle)?

 

Is there any relation between object family 0601 and ECC VMS(Vehicle Management System) ?

 

Anyone can provide steps for the scenario where object family 0601 is used and replicated to CRM?

Business partner search is not consists across all the users

Dear experts

 

business partner search is not consists across all the users

 

In out scenario org str is replicated form ERP with users ID aswell.

 

user 1 can able to search all (total count) business partners(corporate accounts) in web UI

 

User 2 cannot search business partners

 

right now all users are open no restriction in user level

 

If i delete the user in org str then i can see all the business partner count in web ui

 

there is some logic between user assignment in org str and business partner search which iam unable to understand

 

Request you to provide the solution ASAP

R3AD* entry with status "STOP" in ECC outbound queue

Some customers report incident because they found there is R3AD* entry with status “STOP” in SMQ1 of ECC system.

Actually, these STOP entries are inserted correctly when the initial/request load starts for an object.

In this blog, I will explain the reason of this behavior.


The entry is to avoid delta changes to flow when initial/request load is happening. It is necessary to ensure the data inconsistency. If a request load is running, then it is possible that a delta queue containing newer changes to the same object is created before the request has finished processing. In such case, if this queue were to process immediately, the changes it contains would be over-written by the older, obsolete data contained in the request.

Once the initial/request loads are finishes, the STOP entries are deleted automatically on the ECC outbound queue. Thus, please do not delete them manually.

 

 

Sometimes, the customers report that the STOP entries are not removed even the initial/request load finishes.

If you encounter this, you can check for the entries in table SMOFDSTAT/SMOFRSTAT table with status “R (running)”. This is blocking the deletion of the STOP entries in SMQ1 of your ECC system. You could reset the status of these initial/request loads to status “D (done)” and then delete the STOP entries in SMQ1 of your ECC system. Afterwards, your delta flow can start again.

 

In some incidents, the customers also ask why during initial/request load for MATERIAL, the generic R3AD_* entry is added rather than the R3AD_MATERIA* entry which has different behavior with the loading for Customer or BP.

This is also correct. Normally, when you do initial/request load for Customer or BP, the R3AD entry containing the specific object is created, such as R3AD_CUSTOME* or R3AD_BUPA* as the following screenshot shows.

However, when load the materials, the generic R3AD_* entry is created rather than simply an R3AD_MATERIA* entry. The reason is that some other objects have dependencies relating to the MATERIAL. So during the initial/request load of MATERIAL, the download of all delta loads must be stopped to ensure data consistency.


Here is an approach which can change this behavior.

    1. Go to transaction SM30 in ECC system.
    2. Enter the table CRMQNAMES and select the Edit mode.
    3. Add entry MATERIA to the field CRMOBJPART i
n the following entry:

             Object Name:MATERIAL
             Sorting:1
             Name of BAPI structure:BAPIMATMRA
             Field of BAPI structure:COMPETITOR
    4. Save the change.

You could do the above settings as mentioned in note 966758, then there is R3AD_MATERIA* entry instead of R3AD_* entry during the initial/request load of MATERIAL.

Contact person relationship tables are not in sync

Hi Experts,

 

We are facing some contact person replication issue, creating contact persons and relationships in CRM and these will be replicated to ECC, but sometimes the contact persons are not getting replicated to ECC, due to this some discrepancy is happening in tables (CRMM_BUT_CONTNO and CRMPARNR) between CRM and ECC. Please help me how to bring these tables to sync and what is process to update these tables and make them have the same updated data.

DNL_CUST_PROD1 - Initial load error

Hello Experts,

 

I am performing initial load of DNL_CUST_PROD1 and getting the below error in SMQ2 (inbound queue) in CRM.  Kindly help to resolve the issue so that the initial load will be successful.

 

Error is - Hierarchy R3PRODHIER may only be changed in the original system.

 

I have checked various SCN replies, but none of them are helpful to resolve the exact issue.

Error in SMQ2/SMW01 - Processing of document with Guid xxx is canceled.

Good morning guru's,

 

We have a couple of failed queues in our production system with the following error message "Processing of document with Guid xxx is canceled." We have never seen this type of error message before. The message does not give any detail as to what is missing. In addition, the documents are not in CRM that we are able to determine what is missing or in correct.

 

Has anyone else seen this type of error message before? If so, any ideas on how to correct?

    I belong to more of billing & DM side of sap ISU. Now i have got a task to find out what is causing large number of BDOC failures at the start of every month. Can anyone help me with how to trace what caused the BUPA_MAIN /BUAG_MAIN BDOC to trigger so that we can find out what process is causing it & what is the functionality of tcode: BUPA_SEND. Hi All,

 

 

we have an issue on BOM down load from ECC to CRM.

 

In quality system first we down loaded BOM from ECC to CRM successfully by executing the adapter object BOM, and delta load was working fine. But when BOM was created in Multiple plants in ECC delta load was stopped, then we maintained BOM in a specific plant, and we deleted BOM relation ship in CRM system by running a report COM_BOM_DELETE_ALL, then we executed initial load through R3AS with the adapter object BOM after this all Bill of materials successfully down loaded from ECC to CRM, delta load is also working fine.

 

 

now in production system similar issue raised on BOM there were 50 BOM materials are there in ECC production system and we executed the initial load it is successful but only for 49 materials BOM components are transferred, for one material BOM components are not transferred for the reason is component is maintained multiple times. now when we try to execute again initial load for BOM the bdoc is generating Bom initial load operation failed.

 

 

 

can any one have solution for this,
