Product ID already exists BDOC Error

So in the last couple months we have been getting a lot of BDOC errors in our Production CRM system...can not replicate it in Q.

 

Has anyone had experience with this error? If so, how did you resolve it?

 

The only helpful solution that I read about that might work would be to delete the product and repost the bdoc but its a production system, so I am not sure I want to do that...


CRM BP & Hierarchy best practice conversation

All,

 

    Without revealing any trade secrets, looking for any common threads on what on-premise CRM system s do more from a policy or procedure in creating BP & customer hierarchies.

 

    Starting with BP's, where CRM can support multiple addresses for a single BP, we still tend to create a new BP for each location where we do business or where the contact resides.  Most of this is related to the integration with ECC and it's limitation of a single address for an account.

So if we deal with XYZ Inc, and we have customer contacts 3 offices we will have 3 BP's for XYZ Inc.  Not a right or wrong but a guideline we follow.

 

    On the customer hierarchy side, there are options to create a hierarchy in ECC which can replicate to CRM  (generally used for pricing ) or CRM can have their own hierarchies which do not replicate to ECC.  

 

    For reasons where not all of our accounts replicate to ECC we elected to use CRM customer hierarchies & primarily for reporting purposes.

This is where the set up gets complicated from a best practice perspective.  The CRM customer hierarchy is very flexible, can be very flat or many levels depending on your scenario.  Trying to manage in an enterprise mode is challenging as there do not seem to be right or wrong answers.

 

    Would like to see if anyone wants to share their best practice.  We may look for 3rd part resource like D&B (or other vendor)  to provide a mapping of our accounts and we write a Z program to upload and maintain the relationships (BP's to the nodes)

Assign Product category to number range group

I have defined an product Category in CRM .. COMM_hierarchy.

 

when i open the tcode COMCMATERIALId..

 

i am not getting the new product category in the non-assigned elements to assign the category to the number range..

Multiple Fact sheets issue for Account

Hi All,

 

Need help to trigger the multiple fact sheets. SAP has given one SAP note "2104590 - Use of multiple PDF factsheets in account overview page".

 

I have implemented that note  and entered Custom Class and Z smartform in the configuration .

 

SM30->CRMV_PRN_CONTROL

SM34->CRMVC_BUIL_PRT

 

I am able to see the  buttons in account overview , but those are not triggering .

 

Could you please help  me  in this issue.

intelligence object BUPA_MAIN filter do not working

Hi, gurus.

I need your help. It is no effect of filter in Tx. SMOEAC for simple intelligence object BUPA_MAIN. BUPA_MAIN object was simple bulk before applying the note 1834681. Now it is simple intelligence object. But filter do not efficent. What need i do or check to my filter became efficent.

Business partner with GUID & does not exist

Hi guys,

 

I have this problem (SAP CRM 713 with SAP ECC 617):

  • I create a new customer in ECC
  • According to my customizing the system tries to send data to CRM
  • For some reason (that is not important here) the replication fails
  • I correct customer data on ECC and save again
  • The new bdoc is generated with OBJECT_TASK = 'U', in this way the system is trying to update a BP that has not been created, and I get the message "Business partner with GUID xxxx does not exist"

 

So it seems that if the first replication fails there's no way to replicate correctly the customer, I'm able to replicate it only using a request, but that is not the correct way to procede because the user should be able to correct errors himself.

 

Has anyone an idea about that?

Table BUT000 in ECC

Hi Gurus

 

We are currently replicating Business Partner (Customers) from SAP CRM to SAP ECC. So this is from (CRM) Table BUT000 to (ECC) Table KNA1, which is all SAP Standard using BUPA_MAIN.

 

But we have a question  from our PSCD colleagues stating that they need to the BUT000 Table in ECC to be populated with these Business Partners. I know table BUT000 exists on ECC, but I've never seen it populated.

 

Is what the PSCD Team are requesting correct and if so what is the process (I'm hoping there is a standard mechanism) for achieving this?

Unloading Point Details from R3 to CRM

   I have to pull customer master data of 'Unloading Point' details from ECC to CRM. Can anyone let me know is there any badi's or related tables available in CRM to get these details in CRM? If not let me know how can i extract these details through Middleware.

BP Relationships - Time period

Hi,

 

I have requirement as below.

One of the relationships need to be set for a maximum period of 30 days.

 

Customer 1 -> Employee 1

This relationship is created manually but the time period of the relationship must be set to maximum of 30 days. The from and To date can be less than or equal to 30 days but not more.

 

Is there a way achieve this?

Replicate pricing the other way

There is a lot information about initial downloading pricing from ERP to CRM

But we want to create a customer condition table in CRM and *UP*load it to ERP

Now we wonder if there is something like a initial *Up*load for that table, maybe by packing the table in a new created middleware adapter object and do some stuff in SMOEAC and R3AS it from CRM to ERP...would that work? I mean would that table land up in ERP? Would there be a delta replication?

Blank Tax Jurisdiction Field

When creating a customer using crm portal (web ui), we enter the customer's name and address details (street, street number, city, postal code, region, country and zip), After pressing enter, the Tax Jurisdiction field remains blank. We expect to see a tax jurisdiction assigned to this customer.

 

Does anyone know why the Tax Jurisdiction field remains blank? This is a very sporadic occurence. The field gets automatically filled in with certain addresses. We use Sabrix.

How to maintain printer data in a transaction on WebUI.

Hi experts,  please check this issue.

In SAP GUI, user can maintain printer data but on WebUI user can't maintain printer data due to there is no field name like 'printer' in the attribute structure..

 

SAP GUI,  open order 74900000169.

Customers always have requirement to improve the performance for initial/request/delta load between ERP and CRM. In order to achieve this, you could set the following parameters to make the queues being processed parallel.

Please also note the following points regarding processing the queue parallel:

 

* Please also increase the value of parameter MAX_PARALLEL_PROCESSES in table SMOFPARSFA of CRM system which controls the maximum number of parallel loads.


* Please note there is a maximum value 100 which prevents more queues being used. So the number of the parallel processing queues should not be larger than 100.

KNVA table data (unloading points) from SAP R/3 to SAP CRM.

Request your inputs here. I am trying to bring customer unloading points (KNVA table) data from SAP R/3 to SAP CRM. This table is already added under standard adapter object but it is not pushed to CRM system. How can we get the same.

BP Update in CRM to Flow to ECC

Hi Experts,

 

I have come across a scenario where ECC is the leading system and the Customers created in ECC are flowing to CRM using the Customer_Main Adapter Object. The Adapter Object BUPA_MAIN has also been run in R3AS but the Destination is pointing to GroupWare System.

 

Now the ask is to change the customer details in CRM and the same should update in ECC system. How can I achieve this? Any suggestions on this.

I have already created "All Business Partner" Subscription for the R/3 Site. So now when I change anything in CRM, in SMW01 i can see BUPA_MAIN BDoc type sending it to 2 Sites- one to GroupWare and other TO R/3 site. But the R/3 has error as "The ASSERT condition was violated".

 

Can anyone help me in this scenario?

SDIMA blocked with "Compare aborted ( error(s) )" for sales documents

Hello everyone,

 

until recently, the Middleware would nicely replicate customers, products, and sales documents between R/3 and CRM. Since a few weeks, it has stopped to replicate sales documents from R/3 to CRM, but opportunities are still sent from CRM to R/3. It works fine in production and development systems, only the quality system is concerned, and it works fine for the other objects customers and products.

 

No Bdocs are generated. No queues are blocked. The only clear symptom is SDIMA showing "Compare aborted ( error(s) )" as status and a red error flash for instances concerning sales documents, whereas all other SDIMA instances work fine.

 

Any idea?

Partner Replication from CRM to ECC

Hi Experts,

 

There is a issue related to the partner replication from CRM to ECC in a Iobject.

In a standard way manually if we add or change a particular partner in CRM , it gets replicated to ECC successfully.

 

But we have developed a custom code to change or add a partner to the Iobject using the FM COM_IL_PRDBP_API_MAINTAIN, but using the custom

code, the partner is not getting replicated to ECC.

 

 

I have checked by taking  a trace  if the same FM COM_IL_PRDBP_API_MAINTAIN is being used to maintain the partners even if we try to do it

manually.And  the same FM is getting called.

 

 

What could be wrong about the replication through custom code ?? Any suggestions...?
